  1. Hey guys! I really loved this video. What I really loved though was that this was an issue that all freshman are likely to face, that is preventing the freshman 15, and therefore can all relate. I know from experience that from living on Livingston, where the food is just so yummy and not always the healthiest ALL THE TIME, it is very easy to gain those pounds! What you offered was a wide range of options to students knowing that different students will want different things in their exercise/work out experiences. You acknowledged that even though there is always that popular option of just "going to the gym," you recognized that there will be a population of students (realistically, a big one!) that don't care for the gym and would rather go somewhere else. I didn't even know about the "Flex-Pass" and I consider myself a gym junkie! Thanks for spreading the knowledge :D

  2. Hey Everyone! I'm really glad you guys chose to do health (and not just because I'm a health nut!) but because it really is important to keep yourself in shape, and many times that fact is over looked by the amount of studying we have to do, and those delicious, mouth-watering desserts that are served in the dining halls every night. I loved how you touched on everything, from the gyms, to FLEX classes, intramurals, and food. I just recently discovered the calorie counter on the Rutgers Dining Services site, and when I told other poeple about it, they had no idea it existed either! (we gotta spread the word!) I love how you ended the video, with Emma needing help finding her sneakers. It made me laugh, because when I went to the gym with my friend who's not so big on working out, she said the same thing! You guys also did a great job with the camera angles, face expressions, and character movements! Great job :-)

  3. Hey! Okay so is it just me or did anyone else nothing the LOC references in this? LOL (by the way Madi, that "needs help finding her sneakers" is a Life on Campus reference which you'll learn about in the summer :)). But anyway, I really liked this video. It had alot of information in it but I don't feel like you guys would overwhelm the incoming students with it. You thoroughly explained everything that a student needs to know from dining halls, to recreation centers, and even to the equipment you can use. I liked how you guys stressed that most of these things are FREE because you know how everyone loves FREE stuff (or RU swag). The thing that I thought was awesome was when you guys even said what road the recreation centers were on. I didn't even know that LOL. Good use of researching the resources available to students and very good use of character choice, dialogue, and information. A job well done I'd say!

  4. Hello friends! This video was great! The first thing that I noticed was the LOC reference at the beginning. That was awesome! But I think that your video effectively brought up an issue that anyone can face. Also, I feel that a lot of students are afraid of having this when they first come to the university, so that's another reason why this video is great. I think you explained the resources that we have at Rutgers well. I also like how you made the comparison of having fun while staying healthy and active. I think even students who aren't first years can use this video for help. I know I'm not the fittest person in the world and this video got me thinking. It is also super true that staying fit and healthy can also help with your academics and you will be less tired and can focus better with your studies. Not to mention, great use of the Flex-passes! Those things are amazing and even if students don't find anything interesting at the gym itself, they can take any type of class they want with a Flex-pass. Overall, I think you guys did a great job explaining the issue and how to resolve it if it occurs. Wonderful job guys! You're all awesome!
