You guys, this was really funny and enjoyable! I thought you did a great job weaving in important information with this hilarious story line of this nerdy transfer student trying to hit on what looks like to be his professor. I think you touched on all of the helpful resources available to a transfer student adjusting to Rutgers. I'm glad you focused a lot on explaining WebReg because from my experiences choosing classes can be a confusing and overwhelming process. Altogether the characters you choose as well as the setting and even the background music made the video very effective in getting your message across. Great job!
Hahaha! Such good use of humor (and the robot dance feature) to teach students about WebReg. It was also very helpful to hear the actual URL website necessary to register, and the tips you included, such as visiting an advising center.
Wow this was hilarious and really informational. Webreg is a tuff cookie (or cake) to figure out, but the outline you provided is great for First-Years. I like how you expressed student’s interests as well in the video. It really was enjoyable and I feel like a video like this could even be used for new students coming into Rutgers who need a good laugh in between searching the New Student Orientation website.
This was a terrific movie! With 'Webreg' occurring right now, it served as a good refresher for a lot of us. As John pointed out, this video is really useful because it applies to any incoming Rutgers student, not just a transfer student like "stud muffin!" Also, a key thing that you guys emphasized is the importance of writing down the course index numbers and preparing alternate academic schedules. With so many registration websites to remember, students can easily forget to do these helpful steps. Great job!
This was really good, it flowed really well. The information about the resources meshed well into the comedic situation. Web-Reg can definitely be a pain & my friend who is transferring into to Rutgers next semester just had a situation where she was trying to register for classes, so this video just made me think of her. But this video definitely points out all the helpful things that RU has available when picking classes. Good job guys.
Haha, this was really funny and even though it was really funny it didn't take away from the subject itself. Webreg is one of the more confusing things to use here at Rutgers and I think that you guys displayed all the different components well. I really liked the fact that you talked about how to use webreg but also talked about the things that may effect someone making a schedule like work and things like that. I also like that you also mentioned the advising centers.
I think you guys did a great job and this video could be helpful for both transfers and first years!
